What do the British and Iranian royals and the family of Dracula have in common? They are among the estimated 17 million people who are descendants of 12th century leader Genghis Khan.

Now, London restaurant chain Shish is offering free DNA testing and meals to check the real scope of this finding. The promotion, for which Shish teamed up with DNA-based research company Oxford Ancestors, follows the Mongolian government's decision to once again allow citizens to have surnames since they were in the 1920s. Some 50,000 natives now claim direct descent from, and bear the name of the Mongol leader.
